Business Analyst
Position Description
The Business Analyst works in a multi-disciplined team to provide advice to clients on technology strategy, technology / business alignment issues,
development of business requirements, functional specifications and design documents and other associated activities.
The key responsibilities will include the following:
- Meet with users to understand business requirements and suggest/implement enhancements where feasible
- Assist with the implementation of proprietary process modelling technology
- Participation in the development of tender responses and client relationships
- Extension and development of skill base into the technology investment advice and risk management sectors
- Work with Developers on design of technical solutions and determine project scope, deliverables and match to customer requirements
- Ability to lead project team, facilitate the project meetings and maintain the project objectives through effective project management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans and status reports, external status reports and detailed status reports suitable for presentation to
executive management
- Needs exceptional interpersonal skills
Key Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in finance or business management
- Experience in provision of strategic banking/ finance, telecommunications or energy sector advice
- Experience in the design, development and implementation of process modelling
- Ability to work autonomously

- Interstate travel may be required
