Chris, Senior Consultant - Enterprise Architecture
Describe the type of work you do and the projects you work on?
As a consultant, I work on engagements at customer sites where these engagements can vary from assisting customers with their enterprise architecture
practices to direct involvement in implementation projects.
What do you like about working with AIPEX?
AIPEX provides a combination of highly skilled people and an open, friendly culture; something which is difficult to find in many organisations. I feel
that I can obtain quality practice knowledge from my colleagues whilst being able to conduct frank, open exchanges with any staff member, including senior
managers.
I also feel that AIPEX is genuinely concerned with the welfare of its customers and how to best match AIPEX offerings to the needs of the customer.
What training have you had whilst working at AIPEX?
Within the first few weeks of my employment at AIPEX, my manager was proactive enough to enroll me on a TOGAF certification training course pertinent to
my practice area which was extremely beneficial.
How much exposure do you really have to senior management?
I generally have opportunities to speak to senior management whenever I am at AIPEX office locations or at company-related events. I have found the
managers to be quite open to discussions, both formal and informal.
How do you see your career developing at AIPEX?
I see opportunities to play an active role in the expansion of the enterprise architecture services that AIPEX offers customers; something which is
aligned with my own career goals. I also feel there is potential to provide architectural input to services offered in other consulting streams for customers.
